We are on a mission.
Our mission is to radically change healthcare for people with disability, chronic health conditions and older Australians.
A force for good
Prevention is better than cure
Who’s behind Kinela
Kinela was Founded by Karn Ghosh and Rishabh Mehrotra, from the simple belief that good health, wellbeing, and access to healthcare are fundamental human rights.
Our name hasn’t always been Kinela. In the beginning, we were Hit 100, a name which referred to hitting your daily target of 100 points when we were initially focused on tackling the diabetes epidemic.
As we have grown and extended our offering to support people with disability, chronic health conditions and older Australians, Hit 100 became limiting and we became Kinela – a name that reflects who we are today.
Kinela is a word that we have created. It comes from the root word ‘kin’, which means kinship and togetherness. It reflects our values and the concepts of community support in our health and wellbeing journeys.
Kinela challenges the status quo to create innovative health and wellbeing solutions to change the lives of those who need it most, helping them to lead more independent, healthier and happier lives.
Kinela is also proud to be a Certified B Corporation, a for-purpose company that makes social responsibility our business.
Our values inform the way we live out our mission and everything we do.
