In exciting news this week, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve launched a brand new health program, developed in partnership with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA).
‘Better Health – Movement and Nutrition Therapy‘ is an innovative 10-week program designed to support individuals in achieving their personal health and wellbeing goals. Available to those aged 7 and above, the program will be tailored to each individuals’ goals and requirements, and delivered via a combination of both in-person and online sessions.
What the ‘Better Health’ program includes
Some of the specific outcomes that we’ll be working towards with our clients on the program include weight management, setting and sticking to a personalised exercise routine, and establishing healthier overall habits for eating and staying active.
Each client’s program plan will include:
- A goal setting and assessment session with both a CPA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and a Kinela Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
- Weekly exercise and health coaching sessions with an experienced AEP
- Weekly dietetics and nutrition consultation with an expert APD, tailored to the participants’ requirements
- Final review session to discuss clients’ progress, and of course, celebrate achievements
AEP sessions will be delivered in CPA’s state of the art accessible gym facilities (or online, if requested by the client), while dietetics sessions with Kinela will be delivered online via our secure and easy-to-use online health platform.
