My role at Kinela.

As a dietitian, I work with clients to understand their health goals and develop a plan together to achieve them. I see clients either face to face, at a place that suits or via online therapy through phone consults or video calls. I’m a true believer that plans must be personalised and tailored to individual needs. I always consider the unique beliefs, values, and circumstances of the client to ensure we achieve sustainable change.

Why I’m passionate about Kinela.

I truly believe that better health belongs to everyone and access to health and nutrition is a fundamental human right. I am passionate about Kinela because it gives me the opportunity to connect with clients and their families or carers on a personal level. I get so much gratification when I see a change for the better in someone’s habits. Knowing I’ve been a part of that person’s journey is so powerful.

Which Kinela value speaks to me the most.

Ambition. We work with people of different abilities and complexity in needs. Our vision is good healthcare for all and this is a challenging feat. At Kinela, we need the courage to rise to every challenge or change, embrace it and adapt so we can offer our clients the best experience and service.

My favourite memory from working at Kinela.

My favorite memory was meeting some of the Kinela team at the Brisbane Disability Expo. I felt we connected straight away and I felt inspired to be part of the team and achieve great things.

My favourite Kinela meal.

The Peri Peri Chicken is my favourite! I’m definitely a fan of a little bit of spice. For me, it has the perfect combination of protein and vegetables with a delicious sauce!

How I maintain my health and wellbeing.

Balance is really important to me. I love being outdoors in nature – hiking and bouldering.

How I spend my free time.

I really enjoy cooking and creating new recipes. If I’m not in the kitchen cooking up a storm, I’m spending time with my dog – he is my fur baby!
